How to Disable the Microsoft Office Outlook Security Notice

Sometimes, in outlook you can receive security warnings when using some of the add-ins associated with opening different types of attachment files. A way to turn off these warnings is to change the security settings in Outlook to allow for the add-ins to open this attachment files. You should careful when doing this. Even if the warnings are annoying at times, they are there to protect you from malicious elements sent through email, such as viruses.

Step1: Open you outlook and check your outlook version. The new "Ribbon" design Microsoft introduced in the later version can only be seen in secondary windows, such as the new mail or new calendar item windows.

Step2:  Click on "Tools" and then go to "Trust Center." Option

Step3: Click on the "Macro Security" link from the left-hand pane.

Step4:  Click on the check box next to "Warnings for signed macros; all unsigned macros are disabled" link and then click on "Add-ins" to select it.

Step5: Click on "Apply macro security settings to installed add-ins" check box to adapt the disable security warnings settings from the macros to include the add-ins as well. Click "OK" to close out of all the dialog boxes. Close and reopen Microsoft Outlook for the changes to take effect.
